Four things to consider before you head off on your trip

Autumn is perfect camping and caravanning weather…usually. Whether you’re planning a short weekend away (maybe with us for the Victorian Long Weekend or Easter), or an extended adventure, here’s four things to consider before you head off.

  1. Check the weather report. As much as we would love to, we can’t control the weather. So, look at the weather forecast for the area you are heading to.
  2. Leave your itinerary with a friend or relative. We don’t like to think anything will happen to us, but it’s always best to be safe. Include:
    • where you plan to go and when you plan to be there
    • what date you expect to return home
    • your mobile phone number
    • your car registration details
  3. Respect your travelling neighbours. When you’re staying at holiday parks like Great Aussie Holiday Park, sites are often close together. That means noise, pets, and other disturbances may annoy others.
  4. Remember to wear something on your feet when you’re outside. There are many things you don’t want to step on or in. 😊

When you have everything organised, packed, and checked you’re ready to head off and enjoy your travels.

We’d love you to come and visit us.
